I have a 50 H with a wide front end. Problem is one side sits lower by about 2 inches. No big deal until I want to use a loader. Have a DuAl and a Schwartz loader and both sit low on the right side facing from the seat. I believe the frame is not square to the front end. Can the frame of the tractor be leveled using the adjusting brackets for the front end mounts?

Park tractor on hard, level surface (road, concrete floor), use tape measure from center of rear axel to floor. If it's close to the same height( 1/2 in ), you have other problems.

Further checks find rear center casts with matching stamped numbers and both rear tires are same size with about equal wear. Visually the front axle appears level to the ground but the frame of the tractor at the axle mount is slanted in relationship to the axle. Is it possible the problem lies in the front axle pivot?

Any chance that you have one six ply and one four ply? That will also make a noticeable difference. The frame cannot twist without breaking something, worn pivot or not.

Regarding what Bob M. said - put a level on the transmission cover to verify this. I'd bet he's right. You may have an H rim and an M rim on the back of that tractor.

Yup! Could also be from unequal WIDTH tires mounted on matched rims - eg. 13.6 x 38 on the left side and a 12.4 x 38 on the right.

Curt - Assuming both your loader frames are straight, the problem mismatched rear tires. If the right side of the front end low you will find the right tire diameter is smaller than the left one. Solution is to replace either (or both...) tires so both rear tires are the same diameter.

Note: The engine block, transmission and rear end together form the chassis or “frame” for the H. Except for several inches of engine side channel between the front engine mounts and the fixed bolster casting, here's simply there that can be bent and throw the tractor out of level without destroying the tractor!
