My 3pt.'s not working. I have a hydraulic leak and the lever on the dash won't move. I'm not a mechanic but I have a shop manual. Where should I start?

There is a cable attached to the lever and it runs under the platform to the righr vrear of the transmission case. Remove the cowling on the right side , directly under the seat. Find the cable and follow it to the 3 point operating lever. The cable attaches to the lever and is probably rusted fast to the pin in the lever.Squirt some penetrating oil on it and work it as best as you can until it frees up.You can remove the E clip that holds the cable in place and gently pry it off the pin.Careful now, the cable end is easily broken off. Liberally soak the whole cable with the penetrating oil while you are at it.
