just purchased a 1949 A.tractor is in excellent condition. It had been running really good until the nut on the bottom of the bowl on the carb. rusted out,the farmer parked it and at some point the can had blown off the muffler and got water in the one cylinder and it's got rust in the cylinder at the bottom of the cylinder and wont move i filled both cylinders with a spray i bought at the parts store for this problem.the one piston moves great and the liqiud is getting by,but the other cylinder wont budge.the tractor sat for about a year and ive had the spray in for about a week.looking for sound advice.the cylinder walls look awesome.as the rest of the tractor looks it had been taken care of except for the lack fo proper storage when it was parked.

The best things to use to get an engine loose is brake fluid and PB Blaster.

What did you fill it with?? Only thing I have found that does work is tranny fluid. I've broke loose at least 20 engines in the past 5 years and all but 2 have come free with tranny fluid in the cylinders. Shoot my 1935 JD-B was locked up for at least 15 years and in 2 days of tranny fluid it was free. I did keep oil in the cylinders for that 15 years but it didn't pop free with the opil but it did with the tranny fluid
