I am working on a 1943 Farmall H tractor and am trying to find out how to change the condensor, do I have to remove the coil to get the condensor out?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

On the back side of the mag, there's a cover held on with 2 screws. Remove the cover. Then, loosen the brass hex nut that the "kill" wire attaches to.

That is a special "extended nut", extending inward, into the mag. The condensor has a threaded stud sicking out that engages with the special extended brass nut, so when you loosen the brass nut, the condensor is freed and will drop out the backside of the mag.

When putting it back together, be sure the wire inside the mag, from the points/coil, stays in place, and slips over the threaded end of the condensor.
