Hello, I recently bought an estate that came with a Ford 901 Select-O-Speed LP model. Can someone please give me instructions on how to start this thing. I've never had an LP tractor before and don't have a clue. Also, in the event that it won't start, I can't find neutral so I can roll it in the barn. Thanks for any advice.

SOS trannies are LOCKED unless the tractor is running and tranny is perationa.

There is a traction disconnect lever back ont he diffy to release the R&P gear from the tranny output. Can't remember if it is on the right or left side on your model.. however.. look for a lever behind one of your heels in an area behind the trans.. that should get it rolling.

Also.. this post would have done WAY better if it had actually been in the "ford" section...
