Thanks to all who responded to my post of 8/16/07 regarding my starter probs. Turns out that the stud moved when I replaced the cables and broke contact inside the starter. Now I'm looking for another starter as this is beyond my repair ability. Just wanted to say thanks again to all.

Thanks. I've already found an electrical repair shop who claims they can repair it locally. Sure beats having to drum up another new one. Thanks again for the response.

That should/could be a cheap an easy fix and just a 'labor' charge from a good shop.. may take them 15 minutes to fix.. vs buying a new starter..as long as the coil wasn't ruined.. etc..
