Need help on figuring how to wire a alternator for Allis Chambers WD... When I bought it alternator ws disconnected....wiring diagram??

Is your's a 12-Volt conversion, using an Delco alternator, or are you actually working with the original GENERATOR?

the alternator is a regular 12 volt....Don't no where to run wire from alternator to?

Here's MY photo of the BASICS of connecting up a Delco 10SI alternator:

If you need MORE detail, Bob Melville, over on the Farmall Forum, has graciously posted quite a number of his diagrams for various IH's.

Pick one that is the closest to how your Allis is set up, and no one will know you used an IH diagram!

(NOTE: If using an "idiot light", simply OMIT the diode, and replace it with the "idiot lamp". Use a #194 lamp, or a lamp of equivalent current draw @ 12 Volts.)
