Starting to figure out that my H was originally not gasoline. 3 holes in hood, handle for radiator shutter, but no shutter, no start up tank. Want to replace the exhaust manifold, the one that is on it is part number 6712. I believe that this is kerosene, but can"t find out for sure.

6712 is the distillate/kerosene manifold. You will probably have better luck finding a gasoline mainfold, as there are aftermarket suppliers, it may be available from your Case-IH dealer at a higher price. The gas part number is 8033DCX. Your serial tag probably won't have the X3 on it, as I don't think IH used that designation very often. If it was a gas engine (it isn't), it WILL have the X1 designation on it.

If its kerosene, the serial number should have a X3 in it, if it is a gas tractor, it will have X1 in the number.

cant help you on the actual part number, but the all fuel manifold will have a lever on it above the carburetor, and had a heat shield on it too. the casting was larger above the carb, kind of boxy looking. they corroded quickly without constant maintenance, and are hard to come by in good condition. yours probably has a gasoline manifold on it now, if all the other stuff was removed. more than likely the cylinder head has been changed to a gas head also. the distillate and kerosene heads were lower compression.
