when I turn the fuel on the bowl fills up with gas but over flows around the gasket tighten bowl and the gas stops before it goes to the carburetor can not seem to get it just right runs fine whenever carburetor has gas? could any one help with some advise/

Check to make sure you have the little screnn in the bowl in the correct place.. otherwise as Old said.. the gas bowl will only fill up to a point where the carb flaot is full and stops it.. etc.

LOL, would you believe that what is happening is normal?? It means the float in the carb is shutting off the gas because the carb is full. Now itf it worries you put the sediment bowl on tight then remove the drain plug from the bottom of the carb then the bowl will fill up just fine. But if you put the bowl on and start the tractor guess what?? It will fill up just fine also unless the float is stuck. Work like when you put a straw in a bottle of soda and put you finger over the ennd of it and pull the straw out and it stay full of soda works the same way with your sediment bowl
