Does anybody have a color picture or know where I can find a color photo of a 1939 Styled John Deere B? I am looking for this to use as a reference for my restoration project.

Thank you,

Tom

Are you sure your "B" is a 1939?

They look just like my 1940 "B". I can post a few pics of it if you want.

I also just noticed that your 40 is a hand start. My 39 is an electirc start slant dash series. What is the trick to setting the carb to fire off on a regular basis. This thing is starting off worse than a hybernating bear.

Thank you. Are the center hubs on the front wheels supposed to be green or yellow and is there supposed to be a B on the hood or only on the seat shaft? I am trying to bring my 39 back to the orgignal paint scheme and decal layout.

Thanks again

Tom

The front hubs were yellow originally and your B would have a "Model B" decal on the seat support.
