I've inherited 20 or so joints of irrigation pipe with the small farm I purchased. What is the best way to repair small cracks/splits in the pipe?

Thanks....

You can also use aluminum stick welding sticks with a gas torch. It works just like a flux-coated brass rod for brazing. Just be careful of the heat - aluminum gets to a near-melting point and the next few degrees and it's gone.

best way is to mig or tig weld the cracks. there is a welding rod you can get, seen it at big r's farm store to repair aluminum with a torch. must be like brazing. havent tried it but its supposed to work good.
