Have a 37 WC. Have good compression. Have spark at all four the plugs. Got fuel. Can't get it to start by cranking - will fire on one or two cylinders and die. Can pull start it and it will run rough and some times run on all four but as soon as you put it under load (give it throttle or let out the clutch) it has no power and starts sputtering / running on two or three cylinders.

Any ideas what I need to do?

I have a 37 WC that is doing the exact same thing. Let me know what you find out and call or email me. 785-748-0061
email willemsh@aol.com

I think I have an intake air leak somewhere because mine has to run with choke almost all the way on and then it still runs rough. I overhauled the carberator but the adjusting screw on the very bottom of the carb has very loose threads and may be sucking in air or the intake manifold may be leaking. I will let you know if I figure mine out if you'll do the same. Hank.

If you actually have all that then you are either out of time or your firing order is incorrect. Firing order is 1243 starting with number one up by the fan. It can act like that when the firing order is incorrect but more often it is just not getting enough fuel into the cylinders.
