One of our point pins was busted on our Ford 3600 when running a brush hog. We bought the tractor used with no manual. We are trying to repair the probelm and are looking for any help in working on the rear end, including any schematics or special steps to replacing the point pin.

Are you talking baout a 3pt lift pin.. like the lower one on the axle trumpet?

Hit the NH website and then get over to the parts section and get an exploded diagram of your setup. If it is like the older fords, you have to pull the axle trumpets to replace the pins.

You could also do with getting a manual for your machine... for now. the exploded parts diagram should tell you what you need to know.

hit thier site.. choose ag applications, then north america.. then parts, then parts search.. enter your machin.. the 3600 and search.. etc.
