I have an F510 that is hard to start if it has been setting for any length of time sometimes it back fires while cranking. Once it has been started and runs for a while it will start right back up. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

Sounds like you might have an intake valve sticking, not seated correctly or the valve lash (distance between the valve and the lifter(tappet)) might need to be checked. Common backfire is caused when the ignition(spark) fires when the intake valve is still open. The combustion that would normally happen in a closed chamber shoots back through the intake and the carburator.
