how do you get all the grease and grime that cakes up on tractors and implements over years of sitting outside, you can get a putty knife and scrape it off but surely there is somethin' easier and faster

Here are the two methods I have used over the years to remove built up grease and dirt on equipment. (1) old way 1 part gasoline two parts diesel brush on to the area to loosen the build up. Oh, by the way no smoking and do this in the shade it slows the evaportation. After 20 mins pressure wash the area. (2) New way better for inviroment. Get high quality Bio degradeable degreaser/solvent. Apply by brush or spray bottle; also do this in the shade, wait 20 min. power wash the built up area. Depending on how built up it is will determine how many applications of degrease and power washes needed.

I have used easy-off oven cleaner let set for 20 to 30 minuts in the shade and pressure wash off. It worked pritty well. It also hase the tendency to remove some paint.

I use a water base detergent called "SIMPLE GREEN" and follow up with pressure washer with a good turbo nozzle.....
