I have an 4000 about mid 1965 model industrial with Back Hoe and bucket. I have let it set for over 5 years and am trying to get it running. So far I have set up a aux fuel tank with mostly Sea Foam (main tank was clogged. Filled fuel filter and lines with Sea Foam (assuming that would clean every thing and make tractor start easier). Installed new fuel filter. Have removed the injector lines and cleaned them. I am getting some pulses of fuel at the injectors (not much flow though). The leak down line from the injectors doesn"t seem to have any flow(not sure how that functions) Even using either still can not get the engine to start. What would u recommend I do next. Thanks

Finally got it started today. I had been shooting the either directly into the intake through the manifold heating plug holes and today put shorter bursts into the air intake. As soon as it would catch, would give it another hit of gas. Once it was running, rebleeded the injectors and this time it had a lot of pressure. Started it 3 different times. Now on to the rest of the problems.

Injectors- you're talking a diesel? crack the fuel lines at the injectors, and turn the engine over- maybe lost prime by sitting all that time.

Yes it is a diesel. I have bleed it several times. I have noticed that the injector bleed off line doesn't seem to ever have any fuel come out if it. I am wondering if that means that the injectors are not getting enough pressure to open. The bleed off for the injector pump does have fuel but may be from the tank. Assume it would run on Sea Foam only? The system was designed to use gravity feed to the injector pump, wonder if it would help to put some pressure on the fuel line. I have what seems to be good flow at the pump so fuel is getting to it. Thanks again
