I have a M working on restoring. Well there is leak. Where I think this leak is coming from is in the flywheel and clutch compartment. As you go to the rear is the transmission. You have the transmission compartment and clutch. It looks like there is a seam right where those two compartments meet. Thats right where it is leaking. Is there a seal there or what? If dont really understand what talking about. I will upload a picture.

I have added few pics. The pic with circle yellow I believe thats what goes to the clucth and flywheel. That other shaft believe powers the hydraulic pump. I believe that oil leak is from the transmission because tranmission fluid is down plus the oil thats leaking out looks the same. The other pic was a cover took off it had this gasket like material. First off where do I get this at? It all most all rotted away. If the tranmission seal is out how go about replacing it?

I hate the term restore, because to restore something you bring it back to as good as it was new or better. That said you sound like your fixing one up. Any how it sounds like the rear main seal on the engine maybe leaking and to fix that you almost need to pull the engine and at least take the oil pan off and replace the seal
