DO you folks know of a good brand and color of industrial yellow paint for a M.F. 205? I just tried some Benjamin Moore industrial D.T.M. in federal yellow. The color was OK but the stuff would not cover, even after 4 coats! Expenseve lesson! Please don't get to fancy, I am not restoring it ,it's just my helping hand and I want it to look good. Thank You,Mike

I just got done sandblasting, primering and painting three coats of Rustoleum Industrial Enamel Old Caterpillar Yellow @ 40$ gallon out of mt spraygun. And guess what - I'm entirely unhappy with the results, coats and shoots well but very soft even two weeks after I've painted it. Not durable as the word INDUSTRIAL would imply! After all the prep work I did I should have bought an automotive paint with a hardner in it. I guess it looks nice but if you want to hit it with a wrench and not bug it up then forget it. I don't know what economical choices you have?!

Try DEVOE epoxy. It costs about 80$ per gallon but a well primed surface with a gray, red, or white primer will cover in 2 coats. After setting up for 24hours drag it out in the sun for 2 days and it will be hard as a rock. 1gallon will paint 4 460 longs with a little left for touch ups. OH and dont let on that you are not a professional painter or they wont even sell you the stuff. If any one needs a exact product code just re this post and ill get it for ya.
