McCormick-Deering 10-20 gear drive tractors used prefix letters "KC" (Regular) and "NC" (Narrow Tread). After 1934 Narrow Tread was designated by an "NT" suffix to the Regular 10-20 Serial Number.
What is your tractor's serial # ?
"KC" serial numbers began at 501 in 1923, ended at 215973 in 1939.
"NT" serial numbers began at 501 in 1926 and ended at 1960 in 1934.

Klimdog, your 15-30 is a 1929 model. These tractors were called the "New 15-30", or the "22-36". This was done to differentiate them from the first series of 15-30's, because of improvements made on them. The primary improvements were a slight increase in bore, and a slight increase in RPM's. This is where they get the new 22 drawbar, and 36 belt horsepower ratings. A water pump was also added, that was v-belt driven. A good source of parts and information is at www.weberstractorworks.com

Happy Tractoring, Ken
