I am restoring an F-20 farmall for my grandpa and the tractor hasn't been run in years, i had the magneto worked through and a few parts replaced on it and i put new Autolite 3077 spark plugs in it which i heard work great on an F-20. Now that the magneto is fixed i have spark at the spark plug, but it doesn't seem to want to run, it will fire and pop like maybe it could be out of time....or somethin i'm not sure, if anybody has any other ideas or could tell me exactly how to time it i'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks

A quick and fairly easy way to check timing is to remove #1 sparkplug, hold your thumb over the plug hole and have sombody crank it slowly. When the air pressure pushes your thumb away, the piston is on it's compression stroke. At about the top of that stroke, the rotor should point at the #1 plug wire. If it doesn't, you have a problem.
Just a thought, are all the plug wires on in the right order? I think it should fire 1-3-4-2
Good Luck!
