to Mark Meyers & Dunner Wi: Thanks guys for your advise, I checked with our New Holland dealer here in Raleigh, NC and they could not help me. But I did get the gear I needed from Baker's Salvage, Inc in Bishopville, SC (1-800-543-2451) for $50.00. The keyway was too offset to make repairs that Dunner Wi suggested, but that was a great idea. Thanks again, Bill

Could you make a key that is a different thickness for the gear and thinner for the crank or cam. It would take some time but I have done this a few times and it worked. It was not for a cam shaft tho. If you could get it timed correctly I think it would work. JB weld might work also . LOCKTITE stud and bearing mount used with the thick/ thin key I would think would hold up. I never have worked on a Super Major but have always admired them.
