Will this work well for my 48 AC-G's Gas tank? I have some rust both in and outside of the tank? What would I have to do afterwards to protect the inside?

I have used electrolysis to remove rust from loads of old tractor parts. It is just great. Here is a web site with lots of information on it and another one with good information on rust in general Link

and>Link www.kanolabs.com has a super penatrating oil called Kroil and it does not contain silicone so you can clean it off and paint the item.

Here's the website for how to do it. You just choose the proper size container for your needs.

This electrolysis method worked great on my Ferguson TEA gas tank. used an old bath tub to have the solution in, and filled the tank too, and put an electrode inside, but be careful not to short it. i dont remember what the stuff I used afterwards was called, but it vbas a sort of red primer?????+
