I'm having steering problems, when I go down the road it wants to wonder all over, I checked all the linkages,Bearings and kingpins, everything seems to be ok, but there is alot of play in the steering wheel, is there some kind of adjustment that I can do? Thanks in advance :)

I don't have any advice, just wanted to say you brought back memories of driving a "Farmall" pick-up when I was about 12 to 16 years old. The farmer I worked for wasn't much for taking care of his stuff, and the truck had 'bout a half round of steering play. Made for lots of fun for a kid. Of course, we drove it mostly on field roads. Never killed anyone with it. Good luck.

Dan, I had the same problem on my 1940 d model. after a new kingpin set, tie rod ends it turned out to be the bearing on the output shaft of the stearing box was worn. After rebuilding the box I now have a nice handeling truck. Don't forget to have all four wheels dynamically balance.

Tighten the tie rod ends (caps) somewhat and try it again, also turn in the adjusting screw located in the center of the stear gear assembly. Don't turn it all the way in, just enough to take out slop. You'll see it on the flat cover plate shaped like a half circle.
