I have a wheel seal leaking, and would like to know how difficult it would be to replace. Anyone had experience doing this, and what is involved.

I am assuming you mean a rear seal. You have an inner and an outer seal. The inner seal rides the outer diameter of the axle and keeps the differential oil in place. The outer seal is held on with the brake backing plate bearing hub that holds the bearing outer race. If you are getting oil out it is most likely getting past the inner seal and leaking down between the axle housing and shims. It is not a bad job to change the inner seal. If I remember right you have to pull the hub from the axle to get to the outer seal.
