I have some emblems for a Farmall 350 that are dull looking and a couple have a little bit of rust on them. Does anybody know of any place to get these rechromed. Thank You in advance. Adam

The Eastwood Company sells a home electroplating kit that uses zinc in place of chrome plating. They have a website.

I think you would be better off looking for some better replacements. You will probably spend more to have them re-chromed then to buy some nice ones at a show or salvage yard. I checked on chroming prices a few years ago and couldn't believe how much they wanted.

Have you tried the Yellow Pages under Plating? There are a lot of them here in Kalamazoo MI. In the 1960's I had some Rambler valve covers chrome plated, and they had to be cleaned to bare metal. You should ask them how they want them prepared for plating.

Go to, www.infoseek.com, under search type in "chrome plating". You will find a long list of companies.
