Help! Carburator leaks after engine is shut off.
Fuel tank has been cleaned to remove any tiny particles there might have been. Any help greatly appreciated.

Have you throughly cleaned the inside of the fuel lines going to the carb, have a good filter, cleaned the inside of the bowl good, checked to see if the needle sticks? There is a float needle with a rubber tip that helps to keep from getting stuck like the metal ones would. Also check to see if your float isn't leaking itself and not hanking up on the side of the interior of the bowl when it moves up and down. Hope any of this helps you, good luck.

DAVE , HAD A PROBLEM JUST LIKE YOURS,UNTIL I GOT TIRED OF SMELLING GAS. I TOOK THE CARB. APART AGAIN (LIKE 5 TIMES ) I'M PRETTY GOOD ON TAKING CARB. APART BY NOW, SO I CHECKED THE FLOAT . I POORED GAS IN A GLASS CONTAINER AND DROPPED THE FLOAT IN. THE NEXT DAY WENT OUT TO CHECK THE FLOAT AND IT WASN'T .IT HAD A PIN HOLE THEREFOR WOULD FILL WITH GAS AND LIFT THE NEEDLE CUASING GAS TO FLOW FREELY. GOOD LUCK MARK
