I have a 1952 W4 and the starter has gone bad. I cannot figure how to get it out. I can usually figure " if they put it together, I can get it apart" But this has me stumped.
Help !!!

You have to take the belt pulley housing off. You will be able to wiggle it out then but it is a tight fit.

It is the only way to get the starter around the corner enough to get it out. Otherwise, the back of the starter hits the housing and it won't come out.
