I am looking for any info I can find on making a Farmall H into a pulling tractor. I have been told thtat you can put a 350 engine kit put different bushings in the rods to compensate for the different size you also have to put a 350 head on it to have the right clearance, and bore your block out to let the sleeves fit. I have been told that with dome pistons and a 350 enginge kit I could get around 50 hp. I would like to have any info possible or hear from anybody that has an oppinion please let me hear from you.

I don't know beans about pulling, so I probably shouldn't respond. But--50 hp in an H? 350 cu. in. vs 152 standard? Good way to trash your transmission and rear end. Ever hear of the 560? Basically a 6 cyl M. IH had to recall all of them to repair the rear ends.

I assumed you meant an engine from a Farmall 350 as opposed to the 350 ci version. I agree that 50 HP is a bit much for an H drivetrain, but nowhere near as bad as it would be with a 350 ci engine.
