I am looking for a carburetor for my Case/Indersoll 448 Onan 18 hp tractor. I'm also looking for the valve block for the fuel pump. The id # for the carb. is 13935B DD13A 4 85. Case/Ingersoll 448 tractor Model B48M-GA018/3631A Serial # G843 808623 18HP Onan. This carb has always had problems, then it got some water and corosion in it. I was told it would be best to replace it. Does anyone have a rebuilt one or maybe know of another type that will match up? If not do you know where to get a complete rebuild kit(gaskets, float, spring, needle valve etc). Do you have any suggestions? I need advice Thank you, Jason Firefighter40007@aol.com

I would check with an Onan web site or look in the yellow pages. I know that Onal has a factory in Fridley which is a suburb of Minneapolis. More than likely the carbureter was purchased from someone else. Most of the floats fail due to absobtion if they are made of a plastic or a leak if they are made of brass. If you absolutely cannot find a replacement I would take it into a parts store to have them try to match it up with something. If you are really desparate then try to make it lighter by removing some material of the float or make it more bouyant by trying to adding a bouyant material if you have a little space to do it in.
Good Luck.
