Am rebuilding a couple old IH cream seperators, hopefully to use someday. An old 3s and a 4s. Getting motor redone (hopefully) completely soaked in oil, the other sounds like it might need a bearing at the top under the seperator cups. Have'nt got that far on it yet. Any body help me with what type of oil to use and what is proper oil level. Don't see any indicators for level and does'nt smell like 90.

I have what I believe is the same separator as you and I have no idea of it's value. Maybe you can email me with some info on these separators.
Mine has stainless steel parts and in working order.

I have an old McCormick Deering cream seperator that is primrose in color and has stainless steel parts with the U.S. patent no Des122277 on it. I also would like to find out how valuable it is.
