broke sediment bowl off in gas tank. Is this threaded in the tank? Any ideas on how to fix? I have tried an easy out does not seem to have threads in the tank.

I know it's alot of trouble, but you may have to take a hole saw,and cut out that "bung" and weld in a new one or cut out a section of another gas and weld it in the tank to correct the problem.remember to clean out the gas tank, and fill it up with water first before any cutting or welding.hope this helps let me know.

Have never had that problem Usually the sed. bulbs thread right out How ever there is always one An idea that I would think about Use a hole saw to cut out the old fitting use a hole saw a few sizes larger to cut out a replacement from another tank and solder the replacement in. Another suggestion for a replacement Make a washer such as a fender washer silver solder in a replacement fitting in the center,do a little contouring to fit and solder the patch in place
