Me and my brother are getting ready to restore an old Case DH (we think) not a DC that we inherited. The engine is stuck right now. We know that these are very rare but are looking for any tips and/or suggestions. They would be greatly appreciated.

Even if you are familiar with the tractor, take lots of pix along the way and collect coffee cans! Take pix so you know how it should look on reassembly, and use cans to hold parts from various components as you disassemble it. When possible, put the bolts back in to the components that they came out of. Get the service manual, and maybe the parts manual for the tractor so you can ID parts and learn what constitutes enough wear to justify or require replacement of parts.
