I have a 1947 Farmall A torn all the way down and had the old frostplugs removed when the block was boiled out. Any tips on how to re-install the new plugs?

Clean plug bore of any rust, etc. with 220 sandpaper.Put small amount of sealer of your choice around outer edge of plug.Using a driver of same diameter as plug or a flat piece of heavy metal slightly larger than plug, drive plug straightly into bore until flush with engine block.Wipe away any excess sealer & your done.Have used this method for 20 yrs. with no problems & no leaks.Hope this helps!
