Making some new jets for my carb. Bought a kit from some know it all and it was for distillate. Anyone have the specs for a Marvel Schebler TSX 157? It is the gas motor. Just need the right drill size for high speed jets. Anyone tell me what the economizer jet does? Sure would appreciate any help you could give me.
Thanks, Steve

If you ain't got it yet, the TSX 157 has a #36 drill discharge nozzle, a 101 cc idle jet and a 130 cc main metering jet
I don't know what cc means, maybe a flow rate of 101 cubic centimetes per hour??
I'll call the carb repair shop to find out. They run flow checks on rebuilt carbs.

I don't know about a B, but my father would go to the auto parts store and by Ford jets for our H. You might take the old jets to the local store and see if they have a match.

Can't help you with the jet sizes but got a chuckle out of the "know it all" deal, amazing how many people that "I dont know" isn't part of their vocabulary isn't it? The economizer circuit leans the mixture a bit when you are above the idle jet yet not at full load, in other words where the tractor operates most of the time. The old C6 Zeniths had this circuit only they called it an enrichening circuit for wide open throttle. Did exactly the same thing, provided three levels of fuel mixtures for varying loads giving better economy and plug life.
