Have A GT18 with twin 18h.p. Onan engine Mod. # B48M GA 108. engine was running fine then started cutting out, gas is spitting out of the top of the carburator when I try to restart it after it cuts off. Then it kills the battery trying to restart it. Once in awhile it will start up and run at low RPMs for 10 min. or more but try to drive it & it stalls out. Also have been sold two diff. spark plugs for this engine, one short reach one long reach don't know what plug it takes. Thanks

Better run a compression test. I've seen a bunch of Onans do the same thing - problem was burnt valves.
