I am trying to mount mower off Super A to regular A. I would like to use a mechanical lift device, any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Have you ever seen one set up with the exhaust lift?

I have heard of those. How do they work?

You could adapt the lift mechanism off a Woods belly mower to do the trick. A dealer up here in MN will sell that part new and it's about $140 or so. If you could find a used one for any brand belly mower it would probably work well.

I have also seen hydraulic pumps that run off of a starter motor (battery power) for lifting implements. I restored a Farmall A that was fitted with such a device to lift a belly mower. It had lots of power and would also lift a sickle bar mower with ease.

Email me at lsackett@iname.com if I can be of any more assistance.

Good luck!

Excuse my way of spelling Farmall...I just caught it. I had a suggestion today to use an electric lift off of a snowplow. My wife brought home info on a Warn electric actuator. $$! Do you have the ability to send a picture of your hookup? Thanks for quick feedback. I would like to keep in touch. Earl Farmall A fanatic..... .... cjenne@mail.ircsd.org
