Have water in oil on IH 666 gas.
I pressurized the radiator to 14 lbs and it didn't leak off. Would that check the head???

Pressurizing the cooling system at the radiator neck should check the entire cooling system, including the head area. However just because it doesn't leak when you check it doesn't mean it isn't leaking. Obviously it's leaking somewhere or you wouldn't have water in the oil. I have seen engines that would check good when tested cold but would leak once they got hot due to the fault/crack expanding with the addition of heat. I have also seen pin holes in the cylinder wall that would just happen to get covered by one of the rings when the engine stopped and not leak this time, but would leak while running and if the engine stopped with the rings in a different position not covering the hole. That's something to look at, does it seem to leak more when running or more when it's setting cold. Depending on what is cracked/bad usually leaks in the head gasket area will also result in either oil in the water due to the oil psi being higher than the cooling system, or bubbles in the coolant from compression gasses being forced in. Which symptom you see just depends on what part of the gasket is leaking. Beyond that there are no hard and fast rules, that I know of, on where else to look, it's just a matter of elimination.... Good luck finding the leak, I hope this helps some.
