Is there a trick to remove the manual PTO from a Cub 70 / 100? I removed the 3 set screws around the perimeter of the clutch and also removed the set screw on the crank (inside the clutch cage). I beat on the darn thing for 2 hours and it did not budge. I did everything but cut the button out of the center of the PTO to get a gear puller on it... Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

They can be tight, but you need to know that there are 6 set screws in the hub of that thing. TWO in EACH hole. Bottom one holds it to the bearing underneath, top one holds the bottom one in. Look at the screws when you remove them, there two different types on top and bottom.
