i have a 70's? hinimoto e15...from tokyo japan. When trying to start the negative battery cable bolt at the chasis glows. The only thing i can find is when the ignition is on i get continuity from positive wires at starter to ground. At the ignition switch i only get continuity from glow plug wire/prong to starter wire/prong when ignition is on. normally when starting you hold ignition back to power the glow plugs...then you turn it clockwise to start. I dont know if this is normal or not and but its the only thing I can find. When problem first started the hood pushed the positive wire to starter from batterry against the engine. I really need to mow!! anything is appreciated..thank you

Dustin is on it.

What you didn't tell us was that your battery was discharged as a result of the accident.

Probably, a recharge of the battery, after what Justin said will probably fix your problem.

If not what do you have to loose; get back in here and we will go from there.

You have a crudded up connection, where the bolt is getting hot on the chassis. Clean it up down to shiney metal, and replace the negative cable and the bolt, if necessary.
