If anyone can help with this I'd appreciate it. I can't get the variable speed pulley off of the shaft on my Melroe M600. I have to take the Wisconsin VH4D motor out and can't do it without removing that pulley. There are two set screw holes on the engine side of the pulley but nothing is in them. Is there a trick to this? Anyone have any tips?
Thanks
Jack

Go to your nearest Bobcat dealer and order a shop manual. While you're doing that ask them how it comes off. I'm in the same boat with a M444 Bobcat that the pulley broke on.

Are you really sure that the holes are empty? Might be a hollow hex head screw in the bottom, filled with hard crud. Put in penetrant, work with a hand held drill bit. Some mfr's like to put two screws in those holes as a locking system. Awful hard to use a puller if there is a screw left in there.

Have you tried contacting the factory for help or for a manual?
