I have a Zetor 7245 which started breathing very heavy and was missing after some investigation found broken rings have since renewed the piston rings and de glazed the bores but still the engine breayhes very heavy please could some one help put some light on this. look forward for some info

Gary, did you measure the bores, were they worn, out of round, still have scratches or scuff marks in em.? you cant expect a new engine if any of the above are not within tolerances especially in a high compression diesel engine. maybe it needs a load on the engine to bed the rings in, how much ring gap did you measure with new ring down the cylinder.? good luck, sibby.
