wiring trouble!

Can it be explained here without too much difficulty how the wiring goes between battery, switches, cylenoid, and starter on a Farmall M? I am trying to start up our old M and it just has starter with battery cable on clylenoid, one small wire dangling from cylenoid, and wires hanging from two switches, one on/off, one 3 way. There is also an aligator clip and wire I'm guessing is for charging. Anybody got an easy to understand wire routing system for me. Thanks

Original system would not have had a starter solenoid, just a heavy duty starter switch. If you truly have a solenoid in the circuit, it is modified from original. Has your tractor been converted to 12 volts?
