Iam restoring a McCormick Deering 15-30 1928 year and I would like to know if anyone knows where to get some rubber to replace the steel lugs on the rear wheels. They are 50 inch Diameter. Thanks for all replys.

Hi Danny

Where my son and I restored his F-12 Farmall, we removed the sod lugs and then toured around the interstate for a couple weekends and picked only the finest re-caps that had came off truck tires, cut them to width and bolted them to the wheels using the lug holes. Worked great, good traction most of the time (the tractor actually works for a living, skidding logs, pulling a trailer etc). getting the rubber "free" - priceless
