ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA AS TO HOW TO FIX AN OIL SEAL LEAK ON THE SHIFTER SHAFT OF A 1950 ALLIS WD ? I JUST FINNISHED THE RESTORATION OF THE WD THIS PAST WINTER & HAVE IT SHOW/USE READY HOW EVER SHORTLY AFTER THE RESTORATION ON HER IT HAS DEVELOPED A VERY BAD LEAK. LOOKS LIKE IT IS COMEING FROM AROUND THE OIL SEAL AT THE HAND CLUTCH SHAFT. AT THIS POINT I WOULD BE HAPPY FOR JUST AN IDEA AS TO HOW I COULD SLOW THE LEAK TO A DRIP INSTEAD OF HAVING IT FLOW.

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED VERY MUCH JUST SO I DON'T HAVE TO TEAR DOWN THAT SIDE OF THE TRACTOR/TRANSMMISION. I DO USE THE TRACTOR FOR WORK & PLAY BUT WITH THE IDEA OF MORE PLAY.
THANK YOU FOR ANY & ALL HELP.
