I neeed help rebuilding a roosa master diesel fuel pump . What I really need is a blown apart picture of the pump so I can put it back together again . I am just doing a through cleanning ,as i found trash in the top where the governer and metering valve is located , as well as in the return line. The model that I have comes off of a,Case 580CK Back Hoe 1968 The serial # is1188326 1900 A-35773
standard screw company
hartford division
hartford conetticut USA
p.s. it bypasses so bad that it dosen't operate the injectors , so it apparently has trash in the fuel and in the pump by now . the filters have been changed and the injecters tested , the lines all cleaned , so its gotta be the pump . so i need a picture to help me put it back together again as im old and cant remember things for very long.

Can't supply a picture but I used to make a living rebuilding those things.Maybe I can walk you through it.Have you taken the govenor weight retainer off? Snap ring holds it onto the rotor.Look on the bottom side to see if the plastic ring has disintegrated. Also look at the rivets that the plastic ring attaches to.Are they sill there? Damaged? What kind of trash?Bits of black plastic?Does the metering valve move in its bore freely?Let me know and them we will proceed from there.

I find a digital camera is invaluable when disassembling tractors or components that I am unfamiliar with.I take off a part and snap a picture, etc. Then I have a record of where each part goes and in in what sequence it came off.Good for routing electrical and spark plug wires and oil and fuel lines too.
