I Have a 1959 IH 240 Utility and I"m in the process of re building the brakes. When I got the Drums off, the hydro oil came pouring out.Not a big problem, the seals are shot...But nobody anywhere I can find sells the replacements are they some generic size?or can someone shootme in the right direction where to get them.I have all the rest of the parts! Also, do the seals need to be pressed in?I don"t mean to be ignorant Some of these parts are really hard to find!!Thanks!!!!!

Bearing stores can cross reference the IH number, or they can be measured as noted below. Any Case-IH dealer can get them.

Don't beat on them with a hammer. I use a block of wood and tap that with a hammer. You can use a brass drift to get them in even if the block does not leave them flush. Install with the lip (spring side) facing the oil flow.

If the Case/IH Dealer doesn't have them, you may try your nearest NAPA Auto Parts Store or the nearest Bearing Supply. They usually can mic the ID and the OD and match you the seals and bearings. Hope this is of some help.
