We have several tractors that we are working on that need the gas tanks sealed. Can anyone give us some advice on gas tank sealers? What products have you used? Which ones work and which ones don't? Where to buy? Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Ronn

I used Kreem on both my Harley and Super A. I was happy with the outcome. Plug all holes, use plastic food wrap over the gas tank cap hole, reinstall the cap and that will keep the sealer from sealing the two together. Use a threaded plug on the fuel line so that the sealer wont fill the threads.

The last sealer kit (sealer plus etchant) was from a motorcycle shop last year. Cost as I recall was $25 and will do probably three 10-gallon tanks if you are careful. As for which brands are better, I think I have used three different ones over the years and they all seem to be pretty much the same.
