I have purchased a cub with the original color of white . Later painted red to sell . The white I heard was a demonstration model at the new dealers . Is this true . Has anybody seen this restored in white .

It was the "Mid Century" celebration. Enough Cubs, SA's and SC's were painted white so that all the major dealers would have one for show in 1950.

Chassis serial should be in the range of 99536-106517. Castings should have a year date code (format, month*day*year)of S for 1949 and T for 1950, probably from about 9/49--3/50. Built in Jan-March of 1950 along with the Super A and C.

I don't understand your question. I listed the serial number range, and the casting number range.

Yes- some were painted white, as a promo. Sometimes they are at shows.
