I have a QA-42A snowblower attached to my Cub Cadet 126. Does anyone know how to remove the blade and shaft from the blower so I can replace the sprocket? The teeth are too chewed up for the chain to grab. Thanks.

Again. ihcubcadet.com is the place to go for excellent information
Just did mine this winter, remove chain, 6 bolts holding augerbearing to outside shell, pry auger out, remove approx 1/4 bolt which extends through auger to attach end spindle and gear to auger, I then used heat to expand auger tube and tapped plug out and replaced it with a used part bought from Don Vogt (see the site) Easy repair
