Neighbor recently painted his 60 with JD "classic" from John Deere. I don't know what's different about it, but if you park his tractor beside a new one that hasn't sat out in the sun a long time it definitely looks different. Personaly, I don't care for the shiny, wet look paints such as Dupont Imron. Imron will stay good-looking longer, but it doesn't look original to me. Gotta admire that shine though! Jim.

Classic green is the correct color. It is a little darker than the "new" green. Although, I painted my 50 new green because I like it better.

The old JD green is a different shad green than the newer tractors, Go to your JD dealer & get the clasic paint. There is diff paint for old & newer, Look & ask them.
